Solar window films
A coach full of passengers, in July, on a Greek road: solar radiation coming through the side windows is the single biggest heat load on the vehicle. The air conditioning runs flat out constantly, burns more fuel, and passengers in window seats get hot regardless.
Solar film tackles the problem at the source:
- Reduces the heat entering the cabin, easing the load on the air conditioning.
- Blocks ultraviolet (UV) radiation, protecting both passengers and interior materials from fading and hardening.
- Cuts glare, making the ride more comfortable.
- Holds shards together if the glass breaks — a secondary but meaningful safety benefit.
We offer a range of tint levels, so you can choose based on the type of vehicle and how it’s used. For tourist coaches, the choice is usually driven by passenger comfort; for school and urban buses, by discretion and legal compliance.
Note: the tint level chosen must comply with current legislation for each vehicle category and window position. We’ll guide you on what’s allowed.
Windscreen protection film
For vehicles running daily intercity routes, stone chips from the road surface aren’t an accident — they’re a statistical certainty. The clear protective film is applied over the windscreen and acts as a sacrificial layer: it absorbs the impact so it never reaches the glass itself.
Where it really pays off: vehicles with high annual mileage on highways, where the cost of the film is lower than the expected cost of repairs or windscreen replacement over the course of a year. For a vehicle in mostly limited urban use, it’s probably not worth it — and we’ll tell you that.
Installation
Film installation requires an absolutely clean environment: a single speck of dust under the film creates a permanent bubble. The work is carried out in our covered workshop, with the vehicle inside.
