Forty years in the same trade
Panagiotis Adamopoulos has been working with vehicle glass for forty years. In 1996 he founded Bus Glass, a company dedicated entirely to a part of the trade most workshops treat as an afterthought: windscreens and glass for buses.
Thirty years later, the company still does nothing else. Buses, coaches, school buses. Nothing else.
Why specialisation matters
A bus windscreen isn't just a large car windscreen. It's different in weight, in curvature, in how it seats, in the forces it takes from the flexing body. Its surface area is many times greater, so is its exposure to stones and vibration. Its side windows are double-glazed, with everything that implies for moisture and fogging.
You don't learn this by reading about it. You learn it by working on it, every day, for decades.
Our workshop
The company operates out of its own 600 sqm building in Kolonos, at the Kifisos intercity bus exit. The space is covered and designed so the whole vehicle can come inside and stay there for the duration of the work.
This isn't about comfort — it's about quality. Fitting glass requires a clean surface, stable temperature, and the time the specialised adhesive needs to cure properly. Work done outdoors, exposed to dust, humidity or sun, produces results that show up months later — as leaks, noise, or glass that never seated correctly.
Our materials
We import glass directly from major glass factories that can guarantee consistent specifications and competitive cost. For adhesives and waterproofing materials, we use professional products specifically designed for heavy vehicles — not general-purpose solutions.
Our equipment for injection repairs is modern and well maintained, because the quality of the bond depends directly on it.
How we work
When you call us, you speak with someone who knows the trade. They'll ask for the make and model, ask you to describe or send a photo of the damage, and tell you right away whether it can be repaired or needs replacing — along with a realistic delivery time.
If the vehicle is insured against glass breakage, we handle the entire process with the insurance company. We work with Geniki Panelladiki, Ydrogios, Wakam and QIC Europe Limited.
"Quality… means doing it right when no one's watching."
Returning customers and word-of-mouth referrals are the only advertising we've done in thirty years.
